First Official Meeting 19.03.21
Our first official meeting took place on the 19th February. We followed an itinerary that our co-leader Katerina planned for us, which involved:
Discuss team names
Allocate people to jobs and add any other jobs that are needed
Decide on titles for each position for instagram post (legal advisor, web designer)
Ideas of how to organise the blog?
Discuss posts on social media (should we for example all have black and white photo to unite the page?)
Do we all pitch in for the blog as a group or individually?
What is the design, is it individual or do we pick one of our designs between the group?
Team Name
We discussed a few practice names together (which is shown in a later blog post), and decided on Archi4 as it is clear and concise but also simple and effective.
Job Allocation and Job Titles
Using the 'Order of Jobs' document shared on the google drive we were all given the option to write down what positions we would like to work in as we felt people could choose their individual strengths and weaknesses. Once this was done Luke and Katerina ensured everyone in our studio had a job role and we then moved onto choosing our job titles such as 'Blogger' or 'Design Assistant'.
Giving everyone an option as to what they felt strongest to contribute to the team worked great as every role was filled. It highlighted that what some people may feel weakest at may be someone else' strong point and this has helped how we work effectively in a team.
Logo and Colour Scheme
For the next meeting the logo team has been asked to create logos that we can discuss and choose our favourite. To help the logo team we began a pinterest board: https://pin.it/36i3mJn to begin discussing our favourite colour schemes and exhibit designs. We decided on the colour scheme below as we felt it fed into a sustainable, eco-friendly and calming vibe which fits into many of our studio team's aesthetic.
Blog Posts
As a team we decided (myself) Emily, Lizzie, Angela and Keshk will be writing the blog posts weekly to record the weekly meetings, background work, sketches and discussions.
