Discussing Presentation Feedback 19.03.21

After our second presentation, we held another meeting as a group to discuss the feedback we were given about the advancement of our work within the studio practice. Once again, we were able to talk through the improvements that need to be made to ensure that we are making enough progress in each aspect of the group work.

Assigning New Roles

Following the presentations, we collectively agreed that we are slightly behind in some aspects of the work and devised a plan to catch up. A list was created to assign all the members with an additional job to work on alongside their main role in order to get the necessary work up to date. During the meeting, a discussion about the new roles took place to ensure that everyone is happy with the roles that they have been assigned.

Group Targets

A list of targets was also made for the whole group to refer to so that we can each come up with a schedule to complete the work within.

  • By next week’s meeting – Finish all of the research
  • By the end of the consolidation week – Finish the design of the exhibition
  • By the end of the Easter break – Finish the group work

Blog

The blog has continued to be updated regularly so that we have a clear record of what we have been working on and discussing as a group. The document that lists the blogs that need to be completed for each week is also being added to frequently so that we can split up the blog content between us and get it done.

Each week, the group meetings that take place are being summarised on the blog and now that we have started to focus on the design of the exhibition, that process will be recorded as well. Some aspects of the research that is taking place will also be documented to demonstrate how we are using it to inform the exhibition design.
